UMass Dartmouth - Raised Access Flooring

UMass Dartmouth

Project Type: Access Flooring + Underfloor System

Longden Company has completed an installation of 3,500 square feet of raised access flooring in tiered classrooms and an auditorium space at the new UMass Dartmouth Charlton College of Business. These new tiered spaces allow each student immediate access to power and data connections through seamless integration with furniture, which has become essential in today’s highly connected classrooms.

The auditorium includes underfloor air distribution, along with underfloor power and data distribution. High efficiency LED lighting was incorporated into the risers at each tier, alongside custom stainless handrails. Tate ConCore 1250 panels were finished with carpet tile for simple underfloor access.
